Why We Changed Our Name

Why We Changed Our Name Image

One of the most common questions we have been getting lately is “Why did you change your name?!” We thought there would be no better time with our 5th birthday and the launch of our new website to send out an email further explaining our name/brand change. Here is the email that was sent out to our clients:

To our valued clients:

We at CollegeMobile are thrilled to formally re-introduce ourselves as Push Interactions! Much of 2014 was spent carefully planning and executing the transition over to our new corporate identity. Despite the change in name, rest assured that our commitment to quality mobile products and vibrant customer services remains the same.

As a team, we were eager to re-brand ourselves in a way that paralleled our products and business model. CollegeMobile was founded in 2009 in response to an identified need in the education sector. Today we continue to offer our services to a number of post-secondary institutions, but we felt the time was right to adopt and embody a brand reflective of our expansion into other industries, too.

Why ‘Push Interactions’, you ask?

While we’d never dream of being pushy with our clients, we’re definitely not afraid to push the boundaries of technology. Our goal is and always has been simple: to improve quality of life through quality technology.

As we reflect on 2014 and look ahead to 2015, the Push Interactions team has much to be thankful for. From receiving the 2014 Saskatoon Achievement in Business Excellence ‘Small Business of the Year’ award to reaching a milestone of developing over 100 multi-platform apps to date, our business is evolving and we want to thank YOU for the important role you’ve played in this evolution.

Some of you may have already noticed our new-and-improved website. We have a number of exciting announcements lined up for 2015 and encourage you to subscribe to our blog and to our Twitter and Facebook feeds to ensure you’re the first to know.

Thank you once again for your unfailing support. The future is bright for Push Interactions and we look forward to serving you under our new name!

Wishing you a safe and happy holiday season.
